Jean-François (JF) Lamarche

Mountain lover and hiker at heart, JF has clocked a few miles in his time (literally and figuratively!)

He’s successfully completed the GR20 trail in Corsica and the Mont Blanc Tour, the Inca Trail in Peru is next on his list of challenges. That’s what we love about JF: he doesn’t see obstacles, only opportunity!

After a career as a TV journalist and one in financial communications, JF ventured into the health sector and then into philanthropy.

He played a key role in the team that created Héma-Québec, helping to rebuild the credibility of the blood bank system across the province. From there he went on to roles at the Chagnon Foundation and Health Business Group (formerly GP2S).

More recently, JF has worked in the philanthropic sector carrying out strategic and fundraising mandates at Oxfam-Québec, Leucan and the Federation of Alzheimer Societies. His knowledge in business and in the not-for-profit sector has allowed him to develop solid partnerships that continue to this day.

JF adheres entirely to Phil’s philosophy: we’re here to help people who help people and make the world a better place!
