Morgane Labaye

This multilingual project development specialist has an amazing inner reflex to dissect the different steps of even the most complex projects.

Morgane can clearly see a journey map of the client’s experience in her mind’s eye. These skills came in handy during her 10 years in the fast-paced world of events and communications, although she felt the outcome of her efforts were often very ephemeral and out of tune with her own personal values.

Becoming a mother was her catalyst for change, cementing her decision to dedicate her skillset to philanthropic causes. Taking on the mandate of Public Events Manager for the Quebec Division of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada allowed her empathetic nature to immediately become an asset to the team. Being someone that is conscious of the environmental and social impact of our actions on society she decided to work towards reducing the environmental footprint of clients’ projects one step at a time.

Morgane found Phil because she was keen on working with a certified B Corp in Montreal, where she could help a diverse group of nonprofits and businesses on a mission achieve a greater impact. Phil checked all the boxes for Morgane since this professional has a passionate interest in humanitarian and environmental causes, and believes in advocating for women’s rights. Knowing that Phil specializes in supporting the social sector aligned with Morgane’s moral compass.

This analytical thinker spends a lot of her free mindspace in introspection. She loves to discuss feminist literature and her current reading topic delves into the idea of the untamed nature of women. Morgane prides herself on being a true treehugger and has committed to a zero waste lifestyle – even making her own cosmetics and creams. This lover of alternative indie rock is planning on joining a wolf pack of trail runners in a couple of years to commune with the raw forests of a UNESCO world biosphere reserve in Charlevoix for the Ultra-Trail Harricana running event.
