Flavie Halais

Brand strategist, She/her

Flavie blends creativity and strategy to build a cohesive, memorable, and authentic identity for organizations.

Her multidisciplinary background in journalism, multimedia creation, content strategy, cultural insights and crisis management is vast. It has taught her how to research, analyze, and ultimately design solutions for clients to meet their communication goals and objectives.

Flavie is flexible and empathetic, leading all her projects with an understanding that decolonization is at the center of equitable impact in the social sector. Her ability to see the big picture, along with all the nuances and complexities below the surface, allows her to ask the right questions, craft the appropriate messaging, and build the ideal brand.

Because of Flavie’s breadth of journalism experience, she approaches problems with a ‘systems’ lens and is a master at using strategic storytelling to widen organizations’ visibility. Throughout her work, she makes sure to incorporate trauma-informed practices and she values being present and attuned to other people’s needs. She knows that to properly execute a strategy, the process matters.

A peek into Flavie’s life

“In a fractal conception, I am a cell-sized unit of the human organism, and I have to use my life to leverage a shift in the system by how I am, as much as with the things I do. This means actually being in my life, and it means bringing my values into my daily decision making. Each day should be lived on purpose.”
